About the Author

Tamara Wrenn spiritually mentors women during pregnancy, teaching them how to give birth with confidence, courage, and peace - rooted and grounded in Christ‘s love. She guides them in creating a spiritual birth plan to complement their emotional and physical preparation for motherhood, using the framework in her book, Invite God Into Your Birth Room: The Art of Spiritual Strategy for the Childbearing Year.

For over two decades, Tamara has worked with individuals, health, and social service enterprises to deliver impactful solutions that raise up women, families, and communities. She is dedicated to serving all women with a sharp focus on recognizing and addressing the distinctive wellness and advocacy requirements of Black women striving to do her part to wipe out disparities in Black women’s health.

Tamara holds a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from New York University. She is a Certified Personal & Executive Coach, Certified Cooperative Childbirth Educator, Doula, and Fitness Professional. Tamara is a daughter, mom, and grandmother, deeply rooted in a close-knit family. When she wakes up in the morning her goal is to honor and glorify God in everything she does. When she is not serving her clients you can find her body in motion – walking, dancing, enjoying life – like no one is watching, or doing crossword puzzles.
